If you were stranded on an island…

and had to pick one book of the bible what would it be?

and if it was just one verse of all the bible, which one would that be?

Here are my picks…

Book: Hebrews

Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:21

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

  1. daaagg why you gunna ask something like that?!?!

anyways, Ide go with romans, chapter 8 alone is enough to read for a lifetime. And while im speakin about chapter 8, how bout this verse booii!

Romans 8:8 “Anyone who lives in the flesh cannot please God”

    hallelujah hollaback

  2. book: 1peter

verse: He himself bore our sins on his body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to rightousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
    – 1 peter 2: 24

  3. Book: Matthew. Not my favorite, but its probably the most thorough of the gospels.

Verse: Real talk, I’d probably bring don’t grow weary in well doing.

But thing is, you couldn’t really stop me from bringing more…I GOT THE WORD ON MY HEART SON! lol

  4. Woooow, well brotha you inspired me, can’t leave this one out.

Jude 24 : “To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorius presence without fault and with great joy-”

If I could I would drop the whole book on this page cause its all good, oh well, God Bless!!!!

  5. Argh!!!! what kind of question is this, your are making me break my loyalty to the other books of the bible lol

We’ll my book would be the book of 2 Corinthians hand down

my verse would be 2 Corinthians 4:18
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

  6. This is definitely a tough one. I’ll probably change my mind about this a million times but as of right now I’d say…

    The book of Romans

As for the verse, I’d go with Isaiah 40:28 which leaves me in awe of our God.

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.”

I definitely second what your boy said earlier though…”you couldn’t really stop me from bringing more…I GOT THE WORD ON MY HEART SON! lol”

  7. Libro: Filipeneses
Verso: Romanos 8:28 “Y sabemos que a los que aman a Dios, todas las cosas les ayudan a bien, esto es, a los que conforme a su propósito son llamados.”

  8. wow…
    hmm….
    i would say…

    book: Hebrews {for sure}

and verse….i would probably go with the one that never seizes to minister me:
    Isaiah 41:10
“so do not fear for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

  9. Wow…This is good…you never know wen we’ll be stranded on island..lol!

I would have to say any one of the letters to Timothy but if have to choose itd be the 1st
and while we’re on it my verse would definitely be 1 TIMOTHY 1:15!!

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-of whom i am the worst.

Praise God for that! I am redeemed!

  10. because everytime i wake up in the morning i prepare for that to happen lol….you already know son romans is my book B…….and the verse, i’d have to go with Psalm 34:19 “A righteous man may have many troubles, but the lord delivers him from them all”, and boy is that a trouble!!!lol

  11. dag son! im mad late on this one!…….truth is, tho, i tried commenting but for some reason it aint work!

well well……hands down! ROMANS, i mean…come one! if ever u wanna know how ur reconciled to your maker….i mean if u got time!….lol…and assumin u will, being deserted on an isand and all….Romans explaina it in an exhaustive manner….

for my verse…..i wouldnt go to far…..mattta fact!…lets just go to the very first verse of chapter 8 of the book of Romans!….wow! effecient!…i kno how to pack!

this verse brings out a couple of truths! :
-there is a COMNDEMING lifestyle PRIOR to Christ
-there is a REDEEming lifestyle in Christ
-there is a Reward for operating in that lifestyle!……

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH where that island!???! im ready!!
